On The Zoom with SHARON FORREST
Work together by working together. Casting is a collaborative process built through relationships and familiarity. Let’s come together to do great work, find the spirit of support, and build familiarity with our colleagues on the other side of the camera.
On the Zoom will set you up to feel great about your work with casting, to take notes, learn from perspective in supportive positive environment. Actors and casting are in this together.
The online version will allow you to observe ALL the work with Sharon, as a group. That said, actors have the option to work privately away from the group as well. Whatever makes you the most comfortable!
Day 1: Thursday, March 25th, 1 pm - 5 pm or Saturday, March 27th, 1 am-5 pm PST
Actors will coach on either Thursday or Saturday with Jeb, and everyone will work with Sharon on Sunday. If you coach Thursday, you are enthusiastically invited to audit Saturday and vice-versa, or you are free to take the day off and join us on Sunday with Sharon.
Coach your audition live online with Jessie in preparation for your LIVE Audition with Sharon. You’ll be paired with someone in the group and will read for one another in the coaching, as well as on Sunday with Sharon.
All coaching work is filmed and emailed to you overnight so you have the chance to review before you get one on one with Casting on Sunday.
Day 2: Sunday, March 28th, 1 pm-5 pm EST
Work one on one, live online with Sharon. You’ll take notes, adjust, ask personal/career questions, and build your rep and rapport.
All participants will be able to watch all work with casting (unless the actor opts for private work which we will happily facilitate!)
Finally, we’ll wrap up with a group Q&A, discussing whatever questions we have in mind, but especially the road ahead and how to make the most of the historic opportunity immediately ahead for Canadian actors.
