The Video Services Team are all professional actors and in class readers. The know the industry, and are constantly supporting actors with their reading on camera.
All sessions include video editing and uploading.
Self tapes are $55/hour
Matt Montgomery
Matt Montgomery has been working with JBA since 2019, and he has appreciated every minute of it. His abundance of training in both stage and screen combined with his experience as a writer and producer, gives him a strong understanding of the technical and creative elements of the audition. With an enthusiastic and positive approach to his work, Matt loves to collaborate with other actors to create a space where the best work (and best self!) can shine through.
Robert Allan Hughes
Robert is a Vancouver based actor but has also expanded his repertoire to include writing, directing, and producing. Born and raised in Calgary, he went to the University of Lethbridge, and later to Vancouver Film School, to pursue his love of acting and that’s how he wound up becoming a student/reader at JBA. Since moving to Vancouver, Robert in addition to working on-camera acting in various TV shows and commercials has co-created a production company, StoRay Productions, which constantly hones his awareness of the entire process, from both sides of the camera. Robert believes that acting/film making is an incredibly collaborative experience, and is passionately invested in helping to raise up other artists. Her versatile history in the business, combined with a multitude of training and experience in the city, gives her great insight into the audition game in Vancouver.
